Water Towable
Can you go tubing or "towable" on a pontoon boat?

You can definitely tube on a pontoon boat. However, depending on the HP rating of the outboard, the number of passengers, and the size of the boat, it might do it well or it might not.
A 70HP to 115HP on a 23ft to 25ft pontoon will do well enough to pull a tube and allow use of a kneeboard.
However, pontoons do not pull skiers or wakeboards well, if at all. Unless a pontoon has a 90HP or greater outboard, you can forget about doing anything skiing or wakeboarding.
Hence why I recommend people to stay FAR away from buying a pontoon boat if they wish to do any skiing or wakeboarding.
If you wish to be able to ski and/or wakeboard, you'll have to switch to a ski boat or buy a 3 seater PWC that is powerful enough to pull them.
Please do read carefully the laws and regulations regarding towables in your state.
