You can definitely tube on a pontoon boat. However, depending on the HP rating of the outboard, the number of passengers, and the size of the boat, it might do it well or it might not.

A 70HP to 115HP on a 23ft to 25ft pontoon will do well enough to pull a tube and allow use of a kneeboard.

However, pontoons do not pull skiers or wakeboards well, if at all. Unless a pontoon has a 90HP or greater outboard, you can forget about doing anything skiing or wakeboarding.

Hence why I recommend people to stay FAR away from buying a pontoon boat if they wish to do any skiing or wakeboarding.

If you wish to be able to ski and/or wakeboard, you'll have to switch to a ski boat or buy a 3 seater PWC that is powerful enough to pull them.

Please do read carefully the laws and regulations regarding towables in your state.

The spiritual shielding can be bought at the White Flower temple south of Thais. On the first floor of this building is the NPC that sells blessings. The embrace of Tibia can be bought north of Carlin right of the coloured stones that are standing in a circle . The NPC is on the first floor. The wisdom of solitude can be bought at Eremo. Eremo is a guy living on an island located between Edron and Cormaya and is accessible from the boat at Cormaya. Free account players can't buy this blessing. The fire of the suns can be bought south of Ab'Dendriel in the so called Suntower. An NPC located on the top of this tower will sell this blessing to you.

The last blessing, the spark of the phoenix is a little bit harder to get. You have to receive this blessing from 2 people. First of all you have to go to an NPC called Kawill to get the first part of this blessing. After that an NPC called Pydar will give you the second part of the blessing for 10k, or for 9k if you have a Phoenix Egg with you. He won't take the Phoenix Egg, you just get discount on the blessing and that's it. Both NPC's are at Kazordoon.

(This is going to be long, but informative. Please read the whole thing)

I hate to break it to you, but there is A LOT that you need to know before you even think about getting in the water.

(Just to let you know, Im not trying to be mean or anything. It just might seem so becaue I am trying to stress the importance of it all)

First off, just because you are good at boarding sports doesnt mean you are going to be able to pick up a shortboard and do a few floaters and cut backs. Surfing is a unique sport. If you do not have the right instruction, knowledge, and equipment, you will NOT have a good time sitting in the line up getting frustrated because you cant catch any waves. Surfing is the only sport where a person is actually riding energy.

Before you even get in the water, you NEED to know about the ocean. Since you have never been even near the ocean, you have to be at home with the ocean. You need to know about rip currents, under tows, marine life, different types of breaks, and EVERYTHING about the ocean. If you do not, you will be putting your self that others that may have to save you in serious danger. Do your self and everyone else a favor and KNOW BEFORE YOU GO in the ocean.

Now, once you are at home with the ocean (you should AT LEAST practice ocean swimming for a month if not a few years before you surf), you should take some lessons. They are the only way to start surfing correctly. If you dont take lessons, you might just grab a board (that might not float you), snake every surfer out there, not follow surf ettiquete, get in peoples way, and be a hazard to your self and other people in the water. PLEASE, please take some lessons. Dont be a kook. Kooks just buy a nice new shortboard (probably wax the bottom too), try to paddle out, and hurt some one. Actually, about a week ago, some kook ditched their board and the fin hit me when I was duck diving and I had to get 27 stitches. Dont be a kook. Anyways, lessons are cheap, fun, keep you out of harm, and get you surfing a lot faster than you would before you would have if you tried to teach your self.

Once you have taken some lessons, rent a board. Make sure you like
surfing before you buy a board. Once you have done that, GO TO A SURF SHOP to get your first board. They will get you the perfect board and every thing you need. Always go to a surf shop and get their advice. They know the break a lot better than anyone else here anyway. There is nothing wrong with buying a used board either. Beginners would save a lot more money in the long run if they bought used boards. Also, AVOID POP OUTS and NEVER BUY A BOARD ONLINE!

There are many different types of boards besides just shortboards and fish. (im not going to get really into detail)
-shortboards- short, NOT a beginners board, used mainly by pros and intermediate to advanced surfers. They do not do well in smaller surf. They can handle more powerful and steeper waves than a long board and a lot more manuverable than a long board. Usually have the thruster fin set up. Their decreased bouyancy does not give them the paddling speed or stablility/balance that beginners need, so its not a good beginner board.

-fish- short, wide, thick with rounded nose (usually if we are talking about a retro fish). Because of their increased bouyancy, they are easier to paddle than a shortboard and better for smaller surf. They paddle like a long board and perform like a short board. They are much more maneuverable than shortboards, but also more loose. They usually have either twin fin or quad fin set ups. The twin fin makes it easier to transfer from rail to rail but can get "stuck" when you go in a straight line. Once again, not a beginners board.

-Longboards- Longboards go waaaay back to the beginning. They usually start at 9ft long. They are great for smaller surf and can (if you have some skill) perform in overhead surf. Remember, they are NOT a beginners board. They are just more bouyant, which makes it easier for a beginner to paddle.

-Soft tops- Soft tops ARE a beginners board. They are stable and meant for teaching beginners the basics of surfing. Usually meant for going straight and surfing the white wash. They can catch really small ankle high waves, but they are usually not good boards to buy.

There are many other boards like guns, tow in boards, mini mals, fun boards, and other stuff, but I am going to leave that out.

Fiberglass. It is prefered by most surfers. It is not as bouyant or strong as epoxy, which makes it better for experienced surfers. They have a better feel and you can dig the rails in more. They also have more flex, so they are more fun on those choppy days. They are easier to work with so they are less expensive. If you get a ding, you can usually finish your session, dry it out, and fix it up.

Epoxy is a newer, growing material. It is more durable and floats better,which is why beginners prefer it. Experienced riders like it too. It catches every bump on choppy days though. They are harder to work with, so they are more expensive. If you get a ding though, you have to get out immediately and fix it ASAP.

Instillation should be straight forward. We need a little information about your sailboat. If this is a larger boat with a head and galley and inboard diesel engine, then you should have two battery banks and a switch that switches from one, two, off, and all.

Bank one should be your deep cycle house batteries used for instruments, lights and navigation equipment. Bank two should be a dedicated starting battery. There should be an electrical panel with fuses or circuit breakers on the house side to provide point by point termination for things like lights, stereo, and bilge pumps. You should wire the stereo to a dedicated fuse or breaker so that you have a switched on and off.

You will lose radio station presets when the power is off.

When you leave the boat, leave the bank selector to the house batteries and leave the bilge pump on. There should also be a float switch for this pump. This will get rid of water that accumulates in the bottom of your boat due to leaks, spills and even water condensing on the inside of the hull and running down into the bilge.

Turn the switch to both when you start the engine and leave it on both until the engine is stopped. This will allow your alternator to charge both banks.

If this is a smaller boat, day sailor...I'd recommend a small deep cycle battery and a small solar panel to keep it charged up when you arent there. Your radio will draw current even if the radio isnt on. This is called a phantom load. Its the current your radio uses for keeping the radio station memories. It will drain your battery in a month or so. It'll piss you off when you try to use lights and you have a dead battery, so these are good precautions.

There are different types of rust or corrosion. Galvanic Corrosion

This takes place when two dissimilar metals are submerged in water. These metals become like a Battery, one metal acts as the positive side of the battery and the metal become the negative side of the battery and then generates small electrical current flowing from one metal to the other, it eats away at the weaker of the two metals

Electrolytic Corrosion.

This is caused by currents from outside your boat, such as leakage from your shore-power system or a mild electrical current from a nearby boat.

Rust Corrosion.

Iron and steel will get that common reddish-brown rust wherever bare metal is exposed to any type of dampness.

Pitting Corrosion.

Aluminum doesn't "corrode" but rather forms a layer of oxidation on the surface that looks like small dull grime with whitish lumps.

Some steps to take in slowing or stopping Rust or Corrosion are:

One method to stop the Galvanic and Electrolytic Corrosion is by using a system of Zinc Anodes.
The Zinc Anodes should be bolted to the out-drive, rudders, prop shafts, trim tabs and all other areas of metal that could be attacked. The Zinc Anodes are sacrificial and they will be eaten away before the corrosion can get into your more expensive metal parts of your boat.

For Galvanic Corrosion can also be eliminated by keeping dissimilar metals apart. Mounting an aluminum fitting with a bronze bolt is asking for trouble, which is why stainless-steel bolts are commonly used for boating gear. If you have to replace a metal fitting with a dissimilar metal, you must insulate the two metals from each other with a layer of electrical or rubber tape.

A method to stop Common Rust is in prevention by coating all the parts with ZIRLON to keep them protected from the wet and dampness. If it's already started to rust, you can't just paint over it since the rust will continue to blossom under a layer of paint that will soon blister off. Instead, use a wire brush, bronze wool (not steel wool, which leaves pieces that will rust!), or sandpaper to get down to bare metal, apply a coat of ZIRLON.

Another method to stop Aluminum Corrosion, actually to stop Aluminum Oxidation is to protect it with ZIRLON before oxidation begins. Once it has that grayish film, which is actually oxidation, has shown up you need to sand it off or use a specialized aluminum restoration product that will clean the surface .Then protect the parts with ZIRLON. With ZIRLON the aluminum will remain a fairly high maintenance item on your boat.

The other metal is Stainless Steel. Even with its name, stainless steel isn't stain-less. You have frequently seen weepings or runs of rust on a stainless-steel. Even stainless steel can bleed a little corrosion. Using wax can help protect the stainless steel but ZIRLON in the beginning is a long time protection that you can use to prevent it from starting.

Is your boat being attacked by Galvanic or Electrolytic Corrosion?

Look for galvanic or electrolytic corrosion in the pitting of your Zinc Anodes. Another way to tell when you are being attacked is when your metal parts turn pinkish in color. When checking your Zinc Anodes and you see a high rate of reaction or the disappearing of the Zinc, call in an experienced electrician to see if your boat is leaking the stray currents or if your marina and nearby boats are at fault.

Well done for asking the question. I work for an inflatable lifejacket manufacturer and it is nice to see someone being careful about which lifejacket to go for in terms of safety. For kayaking you will definitely want something that won't restrict your movement and sits quite high on your body as you will be sitting down and don't want the lifejacket to feel uncomfortable. Both jackets look to be bib style and this is what is normally used for kayaking. They are easy on, easy off when you've got cold hands. I would recommend that you get something that carries the CE mark then you know it has been manufactured against an approved standard. I think you will be ok with a minimum buoyancy of 50N. Make sure that you find a jacket that fits you well. I recommend that you go to a shop and try a few on. Even if you don't buy one there and then it will give you an idea of what size you need and how well they fit. Always try and get one that fits you snugly and isn't too loose.
