Chief Crazy Captain Christo was on the second leg of his journey around the world when his S- Crew was getting tired. They were all complaining that they had been at sea for three days and needed to pick up some honey from the Southern Bear Islands. So without going into a long drawn out worn out and boring story of Mutiny, the Good Chief Crazy Captain Christo slowly brought his wooden Dinghy Anada Know into the nearest port. The Southern Port of Yallaposies or better known as the SPY Channel. He rocked his vessel into port safely and tied it off to the A.P. Pier. And for those who are new to The Great Pumpkin Letters, the A.P. Pier is the first Pier to the left of the Stern Bow.

So with his Dinghy Anada Know safely docked, the Good Chief Crazy Captain Christo bellowed a fierce warning to his S- Crew.

C.C.C.Christo: " If I see anyone leave the Anada Know, it will be the last time you will ever see the CCCC......."

But the words just left him high and dry. The crew knew what he meant. They all stayed on board for fear of the Rat-Hog. The Rat-Hog is a new character to be introduced in Bob Weir's Pumpkin Letter later in 2010. So back to the story at hand. The Good Chief Crazy Captain Christo had not been gone for more than a minute and a half. That is one hundred and thirty seconds for those of you who are counting. Give or take forty seconds! Anyway, the Chief went into a rather seedy bar called She's Loco Lobo. He went straight up to the bar and asked the bartender for some honey for his crew. The bartender pointed in the direction of the stage and a sweet temptress was performing her hit She-Wolf. Of course. It was none other than Shakira. The Chief Crazy Captain Christo went into Hyper Drive ( author's note HD) and quickly disguised himself as the O-Range Boo Boo Man. Shakira took one look at him and started laughing so hard she had to run off the stage.

Now for the conversation between Shakira and Chief Crazy Captain Christo that took place backstage. Shakira's name has been changed to Si' Si' Omahog. Chief Crazy Captain Christo' name has been changed to P. A. Sugaree ( Pigpen Alfamont Sugaree). Enjoy!

So without stopping to ask for directions because they were already there, Shakira introduced Chief Crazy Captain Christo to his Grandma.

Chief Crazy Captain Christo thanked Shakira and reached in his trousers and pulled out an O-Range P. Fearing it was not a large enough P for Shakira he pulled out an O-Range H in the shape of an EAR.

Si' Si' Omahog: " Chief Crazy Captain Christo, Why are you giving me an O-Range P and and O-Range H in the shape of an EAR.

P.A. Sugaree: "I am so glad you asked me that Shakira so I will tell you. When I took the P OUT you were sad that that was all I was giving you. When I took the H AND formed it like an EAR, you smiled but you still looked at me kind of strange. So when you put the P and the H together in the exact order what do you get?"

It seems there was a breakdown in communication. He thought you just needed someone to just play some music. And you were expecting someone to be the life of the party and keep things moving. Total two different people. A lot of times the DJ is the MC but not necessarily.

Since you work with the guy apologize for the misunderstanding. Explain how you would really like him to still be the DJ, and ask if he could do some MC'ing. See if he'll commit to some specified MC tasks if not all of the things you need the MC to do. Explain your money is limited but you could give him an extra $______ dollars for helping you out. Again apologize for the mix-up. Don't push things if you think it will effect your friendship or he really doesn't want to do it. It would make you feel stressed from worrying about what he might do.

Or your other option is to keep him as the $200.00 DJ. and ask a close friend of the family or possible family member to be the MC. Someone who would look at the job as an honor. That person would at this as a happy job and not expect any payment

There are many people that enjoy getting away from the hassles of life in the city, and purchase a cabin in the country. Cabin beds that are included when cabins are rented, for example at a state park, can be extremely uncomfortable. There are many comfortable types of cabin beds.

The first, most common type of recommended cabin beds, is a bed with an inflatable mattress. These types of cabin beds are more comfortable than those beds provided by the establishment, but they do have a down side.

Cabin beds provided by a park or camping establishment are usually small with rather weak frames. In turn, these beds will not tolerate any excessive amount of activity from a large individual, and commonly will fall under pressure. Rolling around during sleep is not recommended for typical cabin beds, nor jumping into and out of bed.

Some cabin beds have wheels on them, and are built on the type of frame that folds up. Again these types of beds are not for those individuals that do not sleep in the same position while at rest. These types of beds are well known to those individuals that take advantage of these cabin bed privileges that are included in the rental price of the cabin, to fold up unexpectedly. This leaves the individual in an awful predicament, and will require assistance from another adult to maintain composure.

The best recommendation to resolve the problem of faulty cabin beds, is to bring an air bed and use it for sleeping. The problem with air beds is the ability for them to get a hole in rather easily. These holes can stem from being on a wooden floor. The air bed could possibly move around while a person is at rest, and cause splinters to poke though the rubber mattress. These holes can be patched, but typically while sleeping in a deflating bed, the uncomforted can reach ridiculous degrees of pain.

If an individual finds rental cabin beds comfortable, then by all means use them. However, a personal recommendation is to bring along personal bedding to make the cabin as close to home as possible. In some cases, cabin beds do have bedding included, however who knows what type of person or people were in that bedding before you.

Some cabin beds do accommodate with pillow also. However these pillows are most likely paper thin and can be similar to sleeping while laying the head on a board all night. Again, these pillows are extremely uncomfortable and can cause the neck to become extremely stiff. Pillows brought from home are the wisest recommendation.

In conclusion, a recommendation of which cabin beds to used are completely up to the individuals renting the cabin. All people sleep in differently, and those people like to make themselves as comfortable as possible even when away from home. Cabin beds can be quite dangerous, but in most cases create fond, hilarious memories that can be a topic of conversation among the people involved.
