As far as I know Sagittarius people are usually well-liked, so don't start hatin' on your sign. It's really not that bad. The signs that I have seen with the worst reps online are Aries, Scorpio, and sometimes Virgo, although I don't think I'm bad. ;]

It can be a lot of pressure, trying to make a smart purchase. It can take hours of researching to make sure you know enough about your options to be sure that the product you're interested in is really the right one. Advanced Forward Stroking-
Basically for this you should be able to push and hold the leg you pushed with up, and the skating leg bent and arms in a v position continually and consecutively on both legs. Some coaches have you do crossovers on the edges in a circular pattern too. Just be sure to exaggerate every position.

Forward Edges-
First, outside, you'd start facing left with your right foot pointing in front of you, or the opposite way, facing right with you're left foot pointing forward. From here you push off with the foot NOT pointing in front. You then stay on the outside foot until you've skated in a half circle, then you switch feet, and do the same thing on the other foot. Repeat 3-6 times.
For inside you'd begin facing right, right foot in front, or left with the left in front. From there you'd do the same as the outside edges, only on an inside edge.

Back Outside Three Turns-
Basically all you do for these is while going counter-clockwise around a circle, you will lift the outside foot and turn on the back part of the blade of the inside foot. Clockwise, you'd do the same on the other foot.

Scratch Spin-
Start with the crossovers going clockwise around the circle, and on your second or third one, keep the right foot crossed in front and lift the left. At this point you should also switch your arms to face the outside of the circle. After you hold this edge, push with your right foot and step into a deep left outside edge. As you do this your leg should come around the front and your right arm should be straight above your left leg at this point. You should be spinning in an open position. Slowly bring your arms in and cross your right leg over and bring it down to the ice staying crossed. Once you finish the spin, push onto your right leg and hold a landing position.

Waltz Jump-
Start with your crossovers going counter clockwise around a circle. After the last one, simply lift the left foot and hold a right back outside edge. Turn towards the outside of the circle, and have your arms down in front of you. Now, you step forward on your left outside edge. As you do so your arms should go forward. Still holding this edge you should bring your arms back again and then swing your arms and right leg up, and jump. Try and think of jumping long rather than high, this should help keep your legs straight. You land on a right back outside edge in with your arms and head up. Practice the the jump often and it'll become more comfortable.

Half Flip-
When I was in FS1 we just did these from a standstill, but if you want to do it from back crossovers, just add this onto the entrance of the waltz jump. You start by doing a left outside three turn, then immediately picking your right toepick into the ice directly behind you. In a half flip you'll be landing forward, which is impossible for bigger jumps, and so we don't die, most coaches teach the landing as after you've put your right toe in, you'll rotate a half revolution in the air and go directly to the left toe, and from there step onto the right foot and glide out. It's a really easy jump.

Patent Funding: Patent Infringement Litigation Is Very Expensive!

If you own a patent, and it is being infringed upon, your only course of action is to sue the infringing party for patent infringement. However, that can be a lengthy, complicated, risky and VERY expensive ordeal! There is, however, light at the end of the tunnel. There are more than a few patent owners who launched patent infringement litigation and won multi-million dollar awards or reached multi-million dollar out-of-court settlements against the infringing party as a result of filing patent infringement litigation.

The challenge is getting from here to there. Finding the patent funding, funds necessary to finance a patent infringement lawsuit, is the first and most crucial step in beginning this process. There are two major cost elements in a patent infringement lawsuit.

There are a few main areas that are extremely costly and would require one to need to secure patent funding to help offset these dramatic costs. Below are some of the major reasons why one would need to think carefully about how a lawsuit of this magnitude can affect their financial structure. At the end you will surely see the pertinent nature in obtaining solid patent funding.

Legal Fees: Attorneys who try IP (intellectual property) litigation charge hundreds of dollars an hour. Due to the complex issues involved, it takes thousands of hours of high-priced legal talent to prepare and try an IP lawsuit. At $200 an hour, a lawsuit consuming just 1,000 hours of work on the part of the attorneys trying the case creates a $200,000 legal tab. That is typically where securing patent funding comes into play.

Disbursements: In addition fees paid directly to attorneys, there are numerous litigation and support services expenses. There are known as "disbursements" and include filing fees, travel expenses and the cost of hiring court reporters to create transcripts of depositions. Sometimes depositions are videotaped, so videographers must be hired, Experts are often brought in to research the claim and, possibly, to appear as expert witnesses at trial. Sometimes displays, charts and models (these are called "demonstratives") have to be created that will demonstrate to the jury how the patented invention works and how it is being infringed. Many law firms use jury consultants to make sure they select favorable jurors and to help them fine tune and improve their presentation to the jury that hears the case.

Bottom Line: Legal fees and disbursements for a patent infringement lawsuit can easily add up to $1 million or more. As a result, patent infringement litigation tends to be a David-versus-Goliath battle. The patent owner is typically an individual or a small business seeking justice from a large corporation with almost unlimited financial resources. It is not a big deal for a multi-billion dollar corporation to spend a few million dollars defending its own self against patent infringement claims. It is quite a big deal for an individual or a small business to come up with several hundred thousand dollars – or a million dollars or more – to pursue the infringing party of its patent.

Two Solutions: A new type of business, the patent enforcement firm, was created to address just this issue, and a new financial service, litigation funding, was created to provide funding for exactly this type of litigation.

Patent Enforcement Firms: There are just a handful of these, but they fill a real need by helping the patent owner whose patent has been infringed, but cannot afford to fund patent infringement litigation himself (or herself it itself). Patent enforcement firms both fund the litigation and manage the entire process in exchange for a share of any award or settlement that results from the lawsuit. They work on a "contingency" basis. That is, payment to them for their services and re-payment of the money they expended on behalf of the patent owner is "contingent" on the outcome of the litigation. They only get repaid for the money they spend on the case, and they only earn a fee, if they are successful at realizing an award of settlement for their client!

Patent Litigation Funders: There are also just a handful of these businesses. They are specialized finance companies that advance funds to plaintiffs in commercial litigation such as patent infringement. They do not make "loans" but make advances that are both "contingent" (re-payment of the advance is contingent on the outcome of the lawsuit) and "non-recourse" (the company has no recourse to collect the money they advanced if the plaintiff loses the lawsuit.

They Pick Their Fights: Needless to say, patent enforcement firms and patent litigation funding companies are very selective in as to which clients they chose to provide their services since they each make a significant investment, and only make back their investment if the plaintiff prevails and realizes an award at trial or negotiates an out-of-court settlement.

You have built a great website and have started to see your traffic counter spinning up rapidly. This is good news right? Maybe it is, maybe not. You need to look deeper than just the number of visitors to your site. You need to analyze the stats for a number of different reasons. But before you dive deep into the analysis and make full use of this information, you need to understand how to interpret the data.

Your web hosting company probably provides you with basic web traffic information. The data you receive from your host company can be overwhelming if you don't understand how to apply it to your particular business and website. There are two main stats you will notice; visits and hits.

The visit figures are the most accurate measure of your website's activity. Hits simply means the number of information requests received by the server. If you think about the fact that a hit can simply equate to the number of graphics per page, you will get an idea of how overblown the concept of hits can be. For example, if your homepage has 15 graphics on it, the server records this as 15 hits, when in reality we are talking about a single visitor checking out a single page on your site. As you can see, hits are not useful in analyzing your website traffic.

So it would appear on the surface that the more visits you see recorded, the better you can assume your website is doing, but this is an inaccurate perception. You must also look at the behavior of your visitors once they come to your website to accurately gauge the effectiveness of your site.

The aim when analyzing your web site statistics is to figure out how well or how poorly your site is working for your visitors. One way to determine this is to find out how long on average your visitors spend on your site. If the time spent is relatively brief, it usually indicates an underlying problem. Then the challenge is to figure out what that problem is.

It could be that your keywords are directing the wrong type of visitors to your website, or that your graphics are confusing or intimidating, causing the visitor to exit rapidly. Use the knowledge of how much time visitors are spending on your site to pinpoint specific problems, and after you fix those problems, continue to use time spent as a gauge of how effective your fix has been.

Another excellent stat is the exit page stat. This stat will show you which page your visitors are exiting your website from. This stat can help you determine effective and ineffective areas of your website. If you have what you think is a great entry page and from there you expect visitors to move onto different pages of your site you would expect the exit page stats to show this. But if you have a high exit page statistics from your entry page then you know that visitors are not navigating your entry page. This will tell you need to adjust your entry page.

As you can see, these statistics will reveal vital information about the effectiveness of individual pages, and visitor habits and motivation. This is essential information to any successful Internet marketing campaign.

After you have analyzed your visitor statistics, it's time to turn to your keywords and phrases. Notice if particular keywords are directing a specific type of visitor to your site. The more targeted the visitor - meaning that they find what they are looking for on your site, and even better, fill out your contact form or make a purchase - the more valuable that keyword is.

However, if you find a large number of visitors are being directed - or should I say misdirected - to your site by a particular keyword or phrase, that keyword demands adjustment. Keywords are vital to bringing quality visitors to your site who are ready to do business with you. Close analysis of the keywords your visitors are using to find your site will give you a vital understanding of your visitor's needs and motivations.

Finally, if you notice that users are finding your website by typing in your company name, break open the champagne! It means you have achieved a significant level of brand recognition, and this is a sure sign of burgeoning success.

As you can see keeping a close eye on your website traffic statistics will turn your average website into a visitor friendly site. Happy site visitors means sales!

Keeping coins safe and in good condition is just as important as finding and/or buying them in the first place. Most of the time, coins aren't just a straight piece of a metal. They are nearly always a combination of multiple metals (the amount of metals like gold and silver can affect the overall value of the coin) and are composed a way that might be hard to maintain. For example, pennies aren't straight pieces of copper, nor are they straight pieces of a combination. Pennies starting from 1982 are actually a zinc core with a covering of copper. Meaning, if mix an acid that only corrodes zinc, you will be left with a shell of copper. This change was made because of the varying prices of zinc and copper.

One of the most important things to remember is to not wash coins too many times. Really the only time a wash is appropriate is when you give a light wash when first examining the coin, as circulated coins have passed through many hands and come in contact with a large variety of different objects and places. Not surprisingly, many diseases can be transferred by coins if care is not taken. Washing coins excessively will slowly wear away at the outside, subsequently rubbing away at the design as well. Most of the time, rusts, tarnishes, and other changes to the metal itself will not be able to be washed off, and any attempts to do so will be detrimental to the coin itself. If anything seems to be washable, it is probably removable without the use of water.

To store your coins, you can either make your own display, which at best will allow contact with mere tape and cardboard, or you can purchase coin folders. Coin sleeves are also designed to keep coins safe and sound. These guys are made of vinyl and also make great coin displays. When handling coins, be careful, as excessive contact will damage the coin. It is suggested that you wear cotton gloves while handling coins and keep any contact to the coin limited to softer surfaces. Rougher surfaces will obviously scratch the coin (don't want this).

In general, keep your coins exactly the way that they looked when you first received them. Chances are that any sort of change will not be a good one (it doesn't seem possible that you can improve the state of a coin). Make sure any surface that comes in contact with the coin is softer. If you're not sure, you can try to scratch a coin that has little or no extra value beyond face value; the metallic composition should have no drastic deviation from the coin at stake.

I've done this before using only foil. It would be a little more difficult since you have to make it 6"x6", but I think it is possible. Foil is sturdy, yet lightweight and very flexible.

The winner of my class's competition built one that was rectangle, with very high sides, that way even as the boat went down because of the weight (from the pennies that we used instead of tiles) it was not techincally sinking because it didn't take on any water.

The hardest part will be folding/securing the corners in such a way that no water gets in. But it is possible, my whole science class proved it with 5 out of 6 models being water proof and able to hold objects.

Perhaps you could even use packing tape (really wide clear tape that is very strong) to wrap around the corners. It should keep out water, but it will add ot the weight fo the boat.

In 2003, Woods was so sick during the fourth round of an invitational tour that he threw up numerous times. Yet, he still managed to win the tournament by a rather large margin. He did it again during the 2008 US Open where he could have withdrawn due to knee and leg pains, but he decided to continue playing. He eventually overcame these setbacks and grimaced his way to another Major victory.

Which is why it is refreshing to see someone who doesn't flaunt his wealth. It is in fact ironic because Tiger Woods has always been the highest paid professional athlete in the world for a long time now, but you would have never guessed it because he simply doesn't exhibit his wealth. Indeed everyone must have heard stories about his 155-foot yacht and multi-million dollar homes, but they did not hear about these coming from him. For someone who will be worth more than $1 billion by 2011, we should all adore and respect this level of humility. GP
