How Offten Do Fairly Well Packed Surfboards Get Dameged On A Flight?
Im About to go to queensland from victoria in a few days and im going to take my mick fanning model dhd 2 board i only have a day bag but its a pretty thick bag and good metral im also going to put bubble wrap im and a load of pellows and coshens will there be a chance my board could get dameged and if there is whats the percentage
Very unlikely it will be damaged at all.
The size and shape of a surfboard means it has to be dealt with by humans all the way to the aircraft - an then it is stowed in a special area.
Make sure you are covered for loss though - somebody may take a fancy to it !
